Basic Cheese Sauce

This basic cheese sauce is perfect for picky eaters to dunk their vegetables in, for cheese lovers to pour over their baked potatoes, for creamy mac n cheese, or for any time you just want something cheesy. It takes 6 minutes!
Ingredients:
2T butter
2T flour
1c milk
1 1/2c shredded cheddar cheese
Method:
Melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and keep whisking until smooth. Add milk and whisk constantly until it starts to thicken...about 3 minutes. Add cheese and whisk for another 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Enjoy!
